The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Teen Driver Challenge is on. Join Sheriff Nienhuis and friends and learn how to drive defensively and control your vehicle like a pro.

The Sheriff’s two-day program is designed to provide young drivers, age 16, 17 and 18, with the knowledge and understanding of vehicle dynamics and human kinetics. Students will gain an in-depth knowledge about the forces created by an automobile and the effects of the forces on the human body.
 
The next Teen Driver Challenge Session is being held on 07/08/2016 and 07/09/16.
The classroom instruction will be held Friday, 07/08/16, at the Sheriff’s Main Office in Brooksville from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The range instruction portion will be held on Saturday, 07/09/16, at the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 
The class falls up fast so register now! Only 10 students are allowed per session.
