Update July 13, 2019 1:30 PM: Pasco Sheriff’s detectives have confirmed that Wesley Chapel murder suspect Brian Wilson is dead after shooting himself after being confronted by law enforcement in Highlands County.

Preliminary information indicates Wilson was confronted by Highlands County Sheriff’s deputies at the Lakeshore Mall, 901 US 27, Sebring. He fled and apparently shot himself.

 

Update July 13, 2019, 1:45 AM: A warrant for second degree murder has been issued for Wilson. 

Pasco Sheriff’s deputies have been on scene for the last couple of hours investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a woman at the Pasco Woods Apartments, 6122 Ryerson Circle, Wesley Chapel.

Deputies are currently are searching for suspect Brian Wilson, DOB 1-31-85. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, unknown weight, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is possibly traveling in his registered vehicle, a 2010 red Chevrolet Malibu LTZ with FL tag LBFN06. He may be traveling towards the Orlando area as he resides in Windermere.

Wilson should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone who sees him or his car should call 911 immediately.
